Dear Bug editor,
I thought you might like to know that The Bug is gaining in popularity here in New Jersey. My sister told me her fellow students at Rutgers Univ. really enjoy it.

Editor's reply: I knew people in NJ were sick, but I didn’t realise they were THAT sick! Rutgers? That’s a joke, right?

To which Jersey Mike replied:
I will have you know that Rutgers is one of the oldest – 1766 – institutions of learning in the US. On the other hand, it’s most famous graduate is the cartoon character Mr. Magoo, and there was a hit novelty song titled Nobody Ever Died for Dear Old Rutgers in the 1950s. And it seems no one actually knows just what a Rutgers is. Really. I kid you not. Perhaps you might inform me how/where The Bug got started? Some of your homesick Aussie expatriates who post on the AOL Australia Board asked me this after I sent them your link. Of course some of them also asked me if life in Jersey is as portrayed on (the) mafia series The Sorpranos. I assured them it was and demanded a cut of their pay check lest the boys have to pay them a visit. OK, sorry to prattle on, keep up the good work.
