TOWERS OF POWER
(aka the Flamin' Americans Game)

The board game where you get to over-react, kill lots of people and destroy the world!

AND IT'S SO EASY TO PLAY!
When you start you have no idea whether you'll be a towel-head terrorist or a brave western freedom fighter.
It's up to your eye and your throwing arm.
Every player rolls the dice, with the highest scoring player going first. Moving in a clockwise direction each player takes turns to throw the 767 aircraft into the TwinTowers.
You must not make only a direct hit with one of the towers, but also dislodge the flaming Americans from the rooftop.
The first two people to dislodge the flaming Americans become Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein and get to roll the dice again to start their trip around the game board.
The remaining players - as George W and John W - must pursue the evildoers around the board until the world we know explodes in a religion-fuelled conflagration!
It's so easy to play - and you'll have so much fun - you'll wonder why someone else didn't think of it first.

Here's how to get started!

PLEASE NOTE: We're a bunch of luddites here at The Bug, so were not sure how to insert our high-quality, full colour board pdf here for you to download and use. Until then, here's a crappy mono version you can hardly read and that'll probably take 75 minutes to download if, like us, you have an Amstrad 260.

1. Assemble the game board
Paste the above page onto plyboard and use a jigsaw to cut out the game board.
Colour in board using paints of your choice.

2. Prepare your game icons
Paste this page onto cardboard and carefully cut out all playing items:
- your Osama Bin Laden, George W Bush, John Howard and Saddam Hussein playing tokens
- your flamin' Americans (which you simply stick onto an upturned tack (not included), and
- your to-scale Boeing 767 aircraft with patented throwing handle with grip (actually we've used a 737 as they're easier to fly)

3. Make your Twin Towers
After pasting page to cardboard, carefully cut out the Twin Tower and fold and glue as directed and.place on the Ground Zero square on the game board. You'll need two towers to play. For the other tower simply send $99.95 to The Bug and we'll post-haste one to you.

4. Make your own dice
The game comes with your own free do-it-yourself dice kit (left).
It's easy. Follow the simple steps to make the dice and you'll soon be playing - with yourself or others. Here are your instructions:
- cut out dice.
- fold to shape around a sugar cube for rigidity.
- glue tabs to edges and allow to dry before using.
- keep out of reach of ants.

NOTE: Dice should not be used outdoors during rain or indoors during coffee breaks.
5. Make your "Last Chance" cards
Cut out your "Last Chance" cards below, shuffle well and place them face down on the space provided on the game board.

6. You're now ready to play! Within minutes of exciting boardgame competition, you'll master United States foreign policy and be the most hated person in the room.
